MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES:

Division Managers - Division Managers are responsible to our principals. They provide the principals with all necessary reports and forecasts, and work together to plan sales strategies.

Field Sales Managers - Implement sales strategies; manage the field sales teams, set sales targets, monitor activities, analyze and review sales team performance to goals, travel to customers with the sales teams to measure progress and help close business. Field Sales Managers can be depended upon to have high-level customer and distributor management relationships.

Distributor Sales Representatives – Promote distributor sales growth and growth in market share for each principal. They conduct training, develop target account programs, initiate sales promotions, and set motivation awards for our distributor partners. SJ DSRs have earned our distributors’ cooperation and respect and are highly regarded for their ability to produce results. “SJ developed the model our own DSRs are patterned after” say some of our leading principals.

Field Sales Teams – Visit the office weekly for training, strategy updates, policy discussions and teambuilding. We have developed enthusiastic and dedicated teams who have adopted SJ’s philosophy and goals as their own and work closely together. All salespeople are given a good, guaranteed base salary. All expenses are reimbursed by the company. Commissions are distributed quarterly based upon actual sales.

Technical Support - Product Engineers – Handle technical inquiries from customer engineers and distributors seeking factory assistance, provide on-line response to requests for data, samples, and application information. Survey customer engineers for design opportunities for new products. Analyze customer applications to find existing sockets we can fill.

Market Development Engineers – Speed the introduction of new products to the market. Ensure that all salespeople introduce all applicable products to the customer engineers. Provide the factory with marketing feedback about products our customers need for new applications, and with information on competitive offerings. Principals can communicate information on new products and sales strategies to our organization with one call.

Human Resources – Successful track record of selection, hiring, training and motivating of qualified employees. We can identify people who will succeed. We present challenging opportunities to all employees to encourage them to develop their full potential.

Financial, Legal and Insurance – We have centralized for all Divisons, government compliance, tax filings, pension plans; medical, liability, premises, and employment insurance; contracts, recordkeeping, bookkeeping, accounting and payroll. By freeing Divisions of these burdensome and time-consuming responsibilities, they can concentrate on sales–producing activities.

Management Information Systems – After an exhaustive search for software that would allow us to track the key components of our business, we decided to develop our own: SJAMS (SJ Management Information System). SJAMS allows all information, whether entered in the field or by the office staff, to be readily exchanged, so our that our salespeople are 100% current on all activities relating to their accounts: quotes/inquiries, sample requests, orders booked, and new opportunities. All information is available to our principals – in as much detail as desired, including program, product, volume, price, channel, competition, timing and more, complete with historical information and action required.

Hardware/Software Support – SJ's knowledgeable support people service all SJ's computer and communication systems, train our customer service teams on our principals’ computer order maintenance systems and deliver to our salespeople monthly POS and OEM sales reports sorted in ways designed to help them manage their business better.
